Grace Bombardo's Obituary
Grace (Felicia) Bombardo, 89, passed into the Lord’s hands on Friday, February 15, 2013. Grace was born and raised in Syracuse, and in the last years of her life resided at Loretto Nursing Home. Grace was the daughter of the late Sam and Connie Felicia.
She was predeceased by her husband of almost 60 years, Pat Sr. and her beloved son, James; her brothers, Thomas, Anthony, Samuel, Michael and James; her sisters, Dorothy Bowles and Rosemary Butera.
Grace is survived by her sons, Pat Jr. (Tina) of Florida and Cosmo (Ella Mae) of Liverpool; three grandchildren, Richard Bombardo of Syracuse, Lindsay Soulier of Syracuse and Erin Bombardo of Snoqualmie, WA., five great grandchildren; her brother, Cosimo (Kathy) of Syracuse and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 8:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 9:00 am in St. Margaret’s Church, Mattydale, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in the family plot at Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers please give generously in Grace’s memory to the Loretto Foundation, 1305 Nottingham Road, Jamesville, NY 13078. Grace’s family would like to thank those caring employees at Loretto who made her last years so comfortable.
