Grace Marie Chiarenza's Obituary
Grace Marie (Feocco) Chiarenza, 69, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday. Grace was born in Auburn, NY and was a graduate of Most Holy Rosary School and Powelson Business Institute in Syracuse. She was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church. Grace was an Executive Secretary with Niagara Mohawk before joining her husband and working alongside him as President of Twin Oaks Nursery for 47 years. Grace was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, with family being most important to her. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Joseph C. Chiarenza; children, Jo Anne (Nino) Gagliano of Fayetteville; Michelle (Sanford) Harmon of Chittenango and Joseph (Amy) Chiarenza Jr. of Syracuse; six grandchildren, Marina Gagliano, Matthew Gagliano, Zackary Harmon, Grace Chiarenza, Jacob Harmon and Joseph Chiarenza III; a sister, Carmella (Frank) Fanto of Manlius; sister-in-law, Bella LaDue of East Syracuse; aunts, Adele Giacolone, Flora Rafferty and Lucy Feocco, all of Auburn; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 8:30 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am in St. Daniel's Church, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY on Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
