Grace A. (Ferrante) Gallup's Obituary
Grace A. (Ferrante) Gallup, 75, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday in St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Grace was born in Syracuse to her parents Nicholas and Irene (Merritt) Ferrante. She was employed by St. Joseph’s Hospital for many years as a secretary.
Grace is survived by four children, Christopher (Mary Ellen) Gallup of Lakeland, Matthew Gallup of Fayetteville, Therese Gallup of Syracuse, and Thomas (Roxanne) Gallup of Florida; seven grandchildren, Matt, Rae, Steve, Jess, Emmie, Tar, and Thomas, three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward (Betty) Ferrante and Thomas (Corrine) Ferrante, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Grace’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. Spring burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
