Grace M. (Visconti) Mastrobattisto's Obituary
Grace M. (Visconti) Mastrobattisto, 93, passed away December 7, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse to the late Sevario and Maria (Russo) Visconti and graduated from Vocational High School. Grace worked for the Syracuse Credit Bureau and retired from Blue Cross/ Blue Shield after 30 years of service. She enjoyed vacationing in the Thousand Islands, lunches with her girlfriends, and cooking for her cherished family.
She is predeceased by her husband, Carl, in 1986; sisters, Jean Visconti and Teresa Pullano; and brother, Francis Visconti.
Grace is survived by her sons, Gary M. (Debra) Mastrobattisto, of Seattle, WA and Anthony C. (Sandra) Mastrobattisto, of Syracuse; grandchildren, Jeremy, Christopher, Damon (Candace), Alex, Emily, and Joseph; great-granddaughter, Carly; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 10 – 11:30 am at Holy Cross Church, 4112 E. Genesee St., DeWitt, NY, immediately followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Grace’s life at 12 pm NOON at Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
