Grace M. (Catalano) Napoli's Obituary
Grace M. (Catalano) Napoli, 92, of N. Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Upstate University Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late George and Maria (Cambareri) Catalano. Grace enjoyed playing her organ and loved butterflies. She also loved spending time with family and friends.
Other than her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved husband, Santo A. “Sam” Napoli in January 2019; two sisters and four brothers.
Grace is survived by two sons, Anthony Napoli (Marla Caiello) and Paul (Kimberly) Napoli; two daughters, Rosemarie (Gregory) Bowen and Theresa Napoli; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special thanks to the staff at the ICU 6I at Upstate University Hospital for their special care and compassion.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Grace’s life at 10:00 am in St. Margaret’s Church, Mattydale. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
