Grace V. Renetta's Obituary
Grace V. Renetta, 70, of East Syracuse passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Thursday, June 9th at Crouse Hospital.
Grace was born on August 2, 1945 and was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Gertrude Renetta. She retired from Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2005 after 39 years of service and was a loyal Yankee and Syracuse University fan.
She is survived by her sister, Frances (John) Testone; brother, Robert (Mary) Renetta; nephews, John (Jennifer), Joseph (Jennifer), and Michael Testone, Robert (Claire) Renetta and niece, Kaitlin Renetta; grand-nieces, Alison, Jessica, Hailey and Nicole Testone and grand-nephews, Anthony Testone and Robert and Roland Renetta; and Marianne (Joseph) Pietricola, David (Melissa), Steven (Kelly), Bailey, Natalie and Avery Pietricola. Grace leaves behind many loyal and dear friends as well as her beloved dog, Bella. She touched the lives of so many people and her spirit will live on forever in those who loved her.
Grace’s family wants to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Crouse Hospital 3rd floor Intensive Care Unit as well as Dr. Bala Murthy, Dr. John Michaels and Alyssa Miles for the exemplary care and compassion extended to Grace and her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
