Grazia Mucci's Obituary
Grazia Mucci, 84, of Liverpool, passed away April 21, 2021 at home with her husband by her side. Born in Giovinazzo, Bari, Italy to the late Angelo and Isabella Scivetti, Grazia was a seamstress with Wells & Coverly before retiring from J.C. Penny. She loved cooking, baking, taking care of her family. Her passion was sewing, not only for work, but for everyone in her family. Grazia especially loved spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored.
Along with her parents, Grazia is predeceased by her brother, Nicola Scivetti.
Grazia is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Giovanni; her son, Domenico (Sandra) Mucci; 2 grandchildren, Giovanni, and Lina Grace Mucci; 4 siblings, Anna (Raffeale) DePergola, Francesco (Victoria) Scivetti, Domenico (Domenica) Scivetti, and Nicoletta (Antonino) D’Agostino; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Grazia’s life will take place on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 406 Court St. Syracuse. For those who wish to attend the funeral service remotely, please visit the Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church Facebook page. Burial will be private; she will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
