Graziella (Cutri) Ianno's Obituary
Graziella (Cutri) Ianno, 84, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Sant’Eufemia d’Aspromonte, Reggio Calabria, Italy and resided in the Syracuse area for many years. Graziella was a devout catholic and was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. She enjoyed singing, reading, and writing poetry. Graziella loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Caterina Cutri, and three brothers, Giuseppe, Dominico, and Rocco Cutri.
Graziella is survived by her two children, Carmela (Lorenzo) LaFace and Antonio (Marie) Ianno; five grandchildren, Maria (Jeffrey) Parsons, Domenico (Anna) LaFace, Antonietta (William) Vangelov, Giuseppe (Deanne) LaFace, and Stefania Ianno; ten great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Gabriella, Alyssa, Demetrius, Angelina, Isabella, Victoria, Carmela, Lorenzo, and Lillianna; sister-in-law, Franca Cutri, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Graziella’s life at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
