Guy "Boo" DeMascole's Obituary
Guy “Boo” DeMascole, 92, of East Syracuse, passed away December 9, 2020 at Loretto Nursing Home due to Coronavirus. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Paul and Pearl (Spadafore) DeMascole. Guy was a proud U.S. Army veteran and worked as a self-employed Tile Contractor for many years. He was a lifelong Yankee fan and loved golfing. Guy was a member of the Holy Name Society at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church since 1936 and IAAC.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his wife, Rose (Farnett) DeMascole in 2005; his brother, Paul DeMascole and sister, Marie Romano.
Guy is survived by two sons, Guy A. (Anne) DeMascole and David (Dana) DeMascole; a daughter, Diane (Mike) Farhoud; 8 grandchildren, Pamela (Kevin) James, Stephanie (Sal) Mere, Guy N. (Lindsey) DeMascole, Zachary and Alexandra DeMascole, Shereena, Sara and Abraham Farhoud; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Louis DeMascole, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private funeral services entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Guy will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
