Harriet A. (Dombroski) Nastri's Obituary
Harriet A. Nastri, 75, of Syracuse, passed away November 14, 2025 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Henry A. Dombroski and Elizabeth (Walter) Dombroski. Harriet received her associate’s degree in nursing and was an R.N. She was employed by the Americanization League. Harriet loved to shop, travel and spend time with her beloved husband and family.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Henry A. Dombroski, Jr.; her nephew, Henry A. Dombroski III, and her beloved cat Monkey.
Harriet is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jan F. Nastri; children, Kim Cadaret and Peter Cadaret, Jeffrey Nastri, Jacqulyn A. Nastri, Jan H. Nastri and Jamie Nastri, Alexis Nastri and Johnanthony Ariola, Keri Nastri and Nick Cerio; her grandchildren: Peter Cadaret, Jr., Daniel Cadaret, Jake Cadaret, Karleigh Cadaret, Austin Ariola, Johnanthony Ariola, Jr., Joseph Ariola, Bella Nastri, Adriana Nastri, Sophia Nastri and Olivia Cerio; her sister, Connie (Dombroski) Nesci; nieces and nephews: Paul Nesci, Stephanie Peck and Kristin Nesci.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, followed by a funeral Mass in celebration of Harriet’s life at 12 P.M. at the church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY.
