Heaven N. Flewelling's Obituary
Heaven N. Flewelling, 22, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Liverpool High School in 2023. Heaven was an amazing daughter and granddaughter. She loved spending her time with family and friends, going to garage sales on the weekends, and playing every game on the New York State Fair midway. She was an animal lover and never found a zoo she didn’t enjoy or a dog she didn’t want to pet. She was a fierce competitor who would never pass up on a game of Wii Bowling, Yahtzee, or a horse race to bet on.
Heaven is survived by her loving parents, Heather and Evan Dodge; her grandparents, Barbara and Larry VanHorn, and Maria and Tim Dodge; her half-brother, Ryan Flewelling; and her faithful canine companion, Liam; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff at Waters Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders, the Wilmot Cancer Institute, and Buckley Road Pediatrics.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Central New York in her honor.
