Henrietta Simeone's Obituary
Henrietta (McDermott) Simeone, 89, of Jamesville, passed away on Thursday at her home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY. Henrietta was a Librarian at Harvard, Yale, Syracuse University, North Syracuse High School and Solvay High School. She was active in the St. Thomas More Society. Henrietta was a member of University Women's Club and New York State Librarians Association. She was a passionate reader of books and newspapers and enjoyed the Arts, Theatre and Symphony. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Dr. John B. Simeone in 2005. Henrietta is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A calling hour will be held at Holy Cross Church, DeWitt on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a funeral mass immediately following at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, Rhode Island. Contributions may be made to Holy Cross Church, 4112 E. Genesee St., DeWitt, NY 13214.
