“Downtown” Henry E. Brown, 79, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Robert and Dorothy (Matthews) Bro Read Obituary
I met Henry at Cars& Coffee and Thursday night car shows at Sylvan Beach. We would sometimes argue about whose car was faster. We would enjoy good conversation and many laughs. Henry will be greatly missed.

We are overwhelmed with the loss of our dear friend, our Brother in every way that mattered, Henry. We loved him deeply. When we first met Henry in Harrisburg,Pennsylvania, we had no idea that he would introduce us to the world of RVing or that this chance meeting would lead to a journey and a friendship that would last nearly 20 years.
We will always remember Henry’s smile and his big generous heart. He welcomed us into the world of motor homing , and it was because of Henry that we bought our first motorhome. Over the years, the love we shared made us more than friends, he and Linda became family!
We will cherish the phone calls, the laughter, and the way he teased us endlessly about living “downstate in the “city,” even though we don’t. We live on Long Island. He even tried to convince us to move to Syracuse. That was Henry, always joking, always encouraging, and always making us feel loved.
We will forever hold close the memories, the miles traveled, the conversations, and the years we were blessed to share with him. Rest in Peace Our Brother!

Linda, we are so sorry for your loss. I especially will miss having Henry check up with me to see how I am doing. Henry and I had a great repoire and he was always willing to help me. I will miss his banter of how “sorry he was to Dennis for having to put up with me!” He had his humor and great stories to tell. It was great going to car shows and cruises with Henry. He always had great stories and an infectious smile and laugh. We love you and will miss you.
Henry was a kind, loving person and loved by all . Our friendship started 25 years ago while camping. Someone gave Henry pair of sneakers that were left on campsite. They were dirty and Henry took them home and bleached them cleaned them all up. The next time he seen us he handed us the clean sneakers . I told him that they weren’t ours. They were on the campsite when we arrived.
We all had a good laugh over that !
From then on we were best of friends !
Henry was always helping anyone he could . He will be missed and loved by many ! ❤️
