Henry Intaglietta's Obituary
Henry Intaglietta, 91, of Liverpool, passed away July 3, 2026 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Michael and Frances (Barreca) Intaglietta. Henry graduated from North High School and served with the Air National Guard. He retired from Niagara Mohawk after 42 dedicated years. Henry was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church and was a member of their Holy Name Society. He was a Eucharistic Minister at mass and to the homebound, and was granted the Immaculata Award for service to the Syracuse Diocese. Henry was a big SU basketball and football fan and was a season ticket holder for 40 years, rarely missing a game. He was also an avid tennis and bocce player and was very active well into his 80s.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Frances Galluzzo (Vince), Antoinette Malavenda (Tomaso) and Mary Ann Flaminio (Joseph).
Henry leaves behind his cherished wife of 67 years, Corrine (Scarfino) Intaglietta; two daughters, Therese (Richard) Driscoll and Michele (Sean) Flavin; his son, Mike (Mary Kate) Intaglietta; five grandchildren, Anna Driscoll, John Driscoll, Katia Flavin, Elise Flavin and Abigail Intaglietta, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass in celebration of Henry’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY, followed by entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00- 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY.
