Henry E. Zoll's Obituary
Henry E. Zoll, 82, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 30, 2017.
Henry was born in Syracuse, son of the late Genevieve H. (Glinecki) and Henry John Zoll. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Henry was employed with the NYS Thruway Authority as a Barge Canal superintendent, retiring after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed wintering in Florida, was an avid sportsman, and a member of the Baldwinsville Rod and Gun Club. Henry will always be remembered for his clever sense of humor.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Donald Zoll.
Henry is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Urla (Lamitie) Zoll; four children, Penny (Michael) Miguel of Liverpool, David (Virginia) Zoll of Lysander, Denise (Patrick) King of Malone, and Brian (Rebekah) Zoll of Cortland; six grandchildren Patrick, Jessica, Sonja, Nicole, Lailah, and Levi; three step-grandchildren, Christy, Jason, and Jessica; ten great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruby Zoll; one niece, Deborah Wright, and two nephews, Vincent and Jeffrey Zoll.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Henry’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 3, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
