Irene T. Sinicki's Obituary
Irene T. Sinicki, 88, formerly of Buffalo, passed away peacefully on Thursday at James Square Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Buffalo and resided in the Syracuse area for the past seven years. Irene worked in Buffalo as a bakery clerk at The Quality Home Bakery on Seneca Street for over 30 years. She was a longtime member of the Bakery and Confectionary Union. Irene enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with family and friends at The Turning Stone Casino.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard J. Sinicki in 2005; three brothers and two sisters. Irene is survived by her daughter, Geraldine LaMattina of Clay and her son, Michael (Cheri) Sinicki of Florida; seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass in celebration of Irene's life will be held on Monday at 10:30 am in Pope John XXIII Church, Soule Road, Liverpool, NY. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Buffalo, NY.
