Kim and family, steve and I are sorry to ready about the loss of your precious son and brother. I will never forget how excited you all were when you found out you were adding a boy to your family! I was lucky to have Jack as one of my Earth Science students this past year. Jack was always smiling, friendly and truly a pleasure to have in class. Jack's name was one of the first I learned as students were always calling him and students were even popping into my class to say hi to him. Jack will be missed!

I first met Jack when I was 8 and he was 9. We were always rivals, competitive against each other in everything we did at the YMCA program. Our mothers became best friends which brought us even closer. Though we might have had an odd relationship, deep down we were always friends. I learned this when Jack and I had a falling out in our friendship, he was the grade above me and we didn’t talk anymore. We went from the occasional nod in the hallway to nothing at all, he had his friends and I had his. We rode the same bus and I was once being bullied by some older kids. Jack stuck up for me, it showed me what kind of a person he was, even after our years of rivalry and teasing. Jack was an amazing and talented person who always managed to shine light into any situation. All of my love goes out to his family at this time.

Bradyn and Jack have become good friends these last few years. We will miss the silliness and the why did they do that. The crazy teenage stuff they do.

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Jack. He was a fixture in our home and in our hearts. He could light up the room with his beautiful smile. He was a best friend to Kristopher, always together. We will hold tight to the memories of his time with our family, his excitement over his fishing and hunting adventures and his love of sports and family. He was a wonderful young man, who will be greatly missed, but forever in our hearts. I’m not sure how we will embrace each day, but know we are here for you. We love you guys and Jack couldn’t have asked for two better parents.
