Jacqueline M. "Jackie" (Traino) Connolly's Obituary
Jacqueline M. “Jackie” (Traino) Connolly, 72, of Liverpool, passed away June 16, 2021 at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Isadore and Josephine Zabinski) Traino. Jackie graduated from St. John the Evangelist and Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Community General Hospital. She worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for the Syracuse Community Health Center. Jackie served as an officer on numerous medical organizations and was certified by the CDC in infection control. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Jackie enjoyed traveling, going to camp, crocheting and theatre, but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her grandson, Nicolas A. Fiaschetti in 2003; two sisters, Carol Malley and Audrey Robins.
Jackie is survived by her husband and best friend of more than 50 years, Robert J. Connolly; three children, Kristin A. Fiaschetti (Fiancé, Eric Houde) of N. Syracuse; Sean P. Connolly (Sarah Boyle) of Liverpool and Erin K. Sjuve (Kjell) of Apulia Station, NY; seven grandchildren, Rylie Fiaschetti, Gavin Connolly, Aodhan Sjuve, Ryan Connolly, Tiernan Sjuve, Seamus Sjuve, and Kameron Sjuve; a sister, Melody Foster (Al Highducheck), along with several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
