James V. Buda's Obituary
James V. Buda, 91, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Middlesex, NJ, son of the late Domenico and Angelina (D’Arrigo) Buda. James was a graduate of North High School. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was in the Infantry Division as an Interpreter. He also served in the Auxiliary Coast Guard. James was a self- employed Cabinet Maker for many years.
James is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Doris (Bisslessi) Buda; his son, Dominick J. Buda of Syracuse; his sister, Jenny Ramaglino of Liverpool, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of James’ life at 11:00 am in All Saints Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
