James R. Chimber's Obituary
James R. “Jimmy” Chimber, 65, of Lakeport (formerly of Bridgeport and Harrisville, NY) passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born January 12, 1953 in Syracuse, son of the late George and Ardis Chimer. Jimmy was a roofer for many years in Local 195 and served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers; Thomas, Joseph and Daniel. He was an excellent deer hunter and avid fisherman whose lessons will never be forgotten. He especially enjoying spending time up north with his sister, Dawn Chimber of Harrisville, NY. Also left to cherish his memory are many special family members, friends and his beloved dogs, Barney and Penny. At his request, no service will be held.
