James Condolora's Obituary
James Condolora, 88, passed away Monday, October 24th. Born in Syracuse he was a lifelong residence of the North Side and Lyncourt. Jim worked as a butcher, starting at the Mohegan Market on Salina St. where he met his wife Mary, the love of his life. They were happily married for 57 years and lovingly raised 4 children. Jim also worked at Burnet Midstate Market, Butler's Market and Peter’s IGA and was a faithful member of St. Daniel’s Church.
A lover of sports, Jim was a huge Yankee fan (never missed a game), and loved horse racing (Saratoga, Vernon Downs), and golf, but his real passion was bowling. James would bowl in 3 leagues a week and then go bowling with his family on weekends. He also loved hanging out with friends at the Italian American Athletic Club, Frank’s barbershop and Vallar's Tile Shop. He was a very supportive father and loved his grandkids and great-grandkids. Jim will be greatly missed by many.
Surviving are sons, Mark (Linda) Condolora of Baldwinsville, Paul (Marcy McCall) Condolora of Los Angeles, CA, Luke (Laura) Condolora of Darien, CT; daughter, Maria (Clem) Terino of East Syracuse; sister, Carol Motto of Liverpool; grandchildren, Stacey, David, Lucy, Mary, Jamie, Jordan, Vincent, Marisa, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Julia, James; sisters-in-law, Helen Condolora, Carmella Walker, and several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 28th at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
