James W. Driscoll's Obituary
James W. Driscoll, 54 passed away suddenly on Wednesday. Jim was a lifetime Syracuse resident, attended Assumption Academy and St. Patrick High Schools, graduating in 1974. He began his cooking career at Webers Restaurant where he remained over 25 years. His prize winning chili and seafood chowders won recognition in local contests. Jim was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed golf and darts. Family was his true passion, he was devoted to raising his four children and loved caring for his grandchildren. Survived by his beloved mother, Rosemary and children; Christopher (Jessica), Erica, Kelly and James; sisters, Debra (David) Rasmussen, Norma (Russell) Nemeti, Patricia (Paul) Gruner and nine grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the Family Funeral Chapel, 3401 Vickery Rd., corner of Buckley Rd., N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
