James V. Endieveri's Obituary
James V. Endieveri, 94, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at the VA Medical Center on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Anthony and Laura (DeLuna) Endieveri. James was a U.S. Army veteran during WWII and was Honorably Discharged as Staff Sergeant. He retired from Prestolite after 38 years of dedicated service. James enjoyed horse racing and always had a sweet tooth. He was well known and loved throughout his community and will be truly missed.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Santo, Frank, and John Endieveri; sisters, Lena Cirando, Josephine Bracca, Victoria Maiorano, and Ursaline Spencer.
James is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jean (Amelio) Endieveri; his son, James Endieveri; two daughters, Loretta (Robert) Kelley and Patricia (Gary) Schneible; seven grandchildren, Jaime, Lindsay, Eric, Ryan, Christopher, Casey, and Jordan; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Kyleigh, and Nolan; three sisters, Elizabeth Longo, Rose Witkowski, and Frances (Victor) Pelosi, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Mass of Catholic Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment with Military Honors will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
