James H. LaDuke's Obituary
James H. LaDuke, 73, passed away at Upstate University Hospital on April 5, 2021. He was born in Syracuse, son of Benjamin and Shirley (McKee) LaDuke. James played football at Jamesville-DeWitt High School. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting, fishing, and boating, and was an avid SU basketball and NY Jets fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his beloved grandkids. He was a self-employed carpenter, and member of Iron Workers Local 60.
He was predeceased by his grandson, Aiden Matthew Kincaid; his brother, William LaDuke; his mother, Shirley Harding, and stepfather, Stanley Harding.
James is survived by two sons, Brett (Gretchen) LaDuke of Syracuse and Derek (Juliet) LaDuke of Albuquerque, NM; his daughter, Danielle (Ryan) Brough of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Owen, Elliott, Catalaya, Christian, Liam and Declan.
A celebration of life service for James will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Hafner’s Restaurant on Taft Rd. Funeral services entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
