James V. Pagano, Jr.'s Obituary
James V. Pagano, Jr., 76, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Loretto Nursing Home. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late James V. and Catherine (Basile) Pagano, Sr. Jim was a graduate of Vocational High School. He was employed as an Electrician for over 30 years with IBEW Local 43. Jim was a communicant of Holy Family Church, and longtime member of the Fairmount Fire Department. Most importantly, Jim was a dedicated and loving father to his children and grandchildren. He was a hardworking man and always provided for his family. Jim was like a father figure to friends and family; he was loved by all, and will be truly missed.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years, Patricia “Patti” (Krupa) Pagano.
Jim is survived by his son, James V. (Kim) Pagano III of Skaneateles, and his daughter, Suzanne (Vincent) Case of Truxton, NY; two grandchildren, Isabelle and Joseph Case; one sister, Rosemarie Bundy of Syracuse; two brothers, Guy (Elnora) Pagano, and Nicholas (Marie) Pagano, both of Syracuse; several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of James’ life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Holy Family Church in Fairmount. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
