James V. "Jim" Tangredi's Obituary
James V. “Jim” Tangredi, 80, of Liverpool, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 13, 2023. Jim was born the youngest of ten children to the late Antonio and Rose (Conza) Tangredi and attended C.B.A. and V.O. Vocational High School. After an apprenticeship, Jim became a Licensed Journeyman Precision Toolmaker. Always proud of his trade, Jim was employed by Young and Franklin, Inc. and later with Crucible Industries, from which he later retired after 33 years of dedicated service. Jim was a member of the Steelworker’s Organization of Active Retirees (SOAR) and the United Steelworkers (USW). He enjoyed golfing and was a loyal SU sports fan, but most importantly, Jim loved spending time with his devoted wife of 55 years, Patricia and their 7 dogs. Devoted to his faith, Jim loved the Lord, the Bible, and His church. In Jim’s later years, his grandsons and great-grandchildren kept the joy in his heart and smile on his face during his long and courageous battle.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by 7 siblings.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Russo) Tangredi; his daughter, Nancy (Mark) Adams; his grandsons, Matthew (Stephanie) and Zachary (Carolyn) Adams; his 5 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Edith and Gloria; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to North Central Church for their continued prayers and support.
