Jan M. (Proctor) Hayes' Obituary
Jan M. (Proctor) Hayes, 77, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away January 5, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Syracuse, NY and was a self-employed summons server. Jan enjoyed crafting, board games, watching western movies, and traveling; most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Joseph M. Proctor and sister, Joan Sears.
Jan is survived by her mother, Marion E. (Rushlow) Proctor; four children, Joni Hayes, Jeanne (John) Cook, Robert Hayes III (Tina Hewitt) and Ronald (Kelly) Hayes; four grandchildren, Shelby Brown, Hunter, Tanner and Robert Hayes; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, David (MaryRose) Proctor and Ronald (Joanne) Proctor; her sister, Karen Otts; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 12 – 2 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Jan’s life at 2 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital.
