Jane "Jenny" Emmi's Obituary
Jane "Jenny" (Dobrogowski) Emmi, 83, of Liverpool, passed away Monday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Adolph and Genevieve. Jane volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Margaret's School.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Emmi and three brothers, Walter, Stanley and Zigmund "Ziggy". Jane is survived by three daughters, Sharon Ruszczyk of Liverpool, Sandy (Graham) Soble of Marcellus and Kellie Kelsey of Cicero; four grandchildren, Jessica Soble, Joshua Soble, Kassi Kelsey and Tyler Hazard; a sister, Wanda (James) Boutin of Liverpool along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service in celebration of Jane's life will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
