Back in the mid 70's I rented an apt from Janet and Earl on Lorenzo Dr.
I remember them as exceptional landlords. They repainted a room and asked what color I'd like. While there I broke my leg. Janet checked up on me and even brought a hot meal. They were my role models on how I now treat tenants in my rental property. A true inspiration!
Janet was a good friend of my godmother Issie Strabo - I hope they can share a lunch as they often did and some of those famous cookies.

Jan was a dear friend of my mother’s back in their days together as telephone operators. I remember our many visits to Jan and Earl’s house back in the days when I was about kindergarten age. My mom passed away last September, but she always spoke fondly of her old friends. I’m sorry for your loss.
