Janette "Jan" Sarah (Youker) Concolino's Obituary
Janette “Jan” Sarah (Youker) Concolino, 83, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Loretto Health and Rehabilitation. Jan was born in Syracuse to the late Louis and Lenora (Allen) Youker. She worked for many years as a receptionist for C & A Accounting Associates in North Syracuse. Jan cherished spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, George in 2024; her son, William in 2021; her daughter, Shelly in 2016; her siblings, Myrna, Bob, RuthAnn, Jacqueline, and Gladys; and her pets, Ruffles, Coconut, and Sammy.
Jan is survived by her sons, Geno (Barb) and Scott (Lori); her grandchildren, Jamie (Jen), Jordan, and Ashley; her great-grandchildren, Troy, Dennaro, and Isis; her brothers, Louis (Dolores) Youker and Ronald Youker; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the 10th and 12th floor staff at Loretto Cunningham for their special care of Jan.
Jan was privately laid to rest next to her husband in North Syracuse Cemetery.
A memorial service in celebration of Janette’s life will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 18, 2025 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A memorial gathering will follow at 12:00 P.M. (noon) at the North Syracuse Community Center at 700 South Bay Rd. North Syracuse, NY.
