Jean M. (Jones) Becker 's Obituary
Jean M. (Jones) Becker, 85, of North Syracuse, passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Auburn, NY and resided most of her life in Syracuse. Jean was a devoted mother and very hard worker; she worked as an assembler at General Electric for 25 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, and especially looked forward to camping with her family at her campsite at Tagasoke.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter P. and Jane (Howie) Jones, and her two sisters, Betty and Doris.
Jean is survived by her five children, Donna (Frank) Mills of North Syracuse, Marty (Casey) Becker of Liverpool, Michael (Kim) Becker of TN., Patricia (Keith) Klink of Bridgeport, and Daniel (Wendy) Becker of Syracuse; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and her beloved cat, Mia.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
