Jean Plony's Obituary
Jean (Bonocore) Plony, 95, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday at Menorah Park. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Peter and Clementine Bonocore. Jean was employed at the Lincoln Store for many years. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church most of her life. Jean was a member of Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club Ladies Nine Hole Group League. She was also an avid gardener.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy L. Gutermuth and her siblings, Joseph, Mary, Raphael, Samuel, Lucy, Philomena, Alphonse, Rose and Frances. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, John "Jack" M. Plony; her son, John M. (Doreen) Plony III of Camillus; her daughter, Barbara Pasternak of Liverpool; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 am in Holy Family Church. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.
