My name is Sarah and in 2010/2011 I had the pleasure of working with your Nettie at LS Day Habilitation. At the time I worked at Lakeshore my own daughter was 4 with multiple special needs and I had never left her to work since she had been born, it was hard. Being around people like Nettie made my job easier and fun. No matter how tired or sick Nettie may have felt, she made jokes, switched my papers around would always laugh telling me " Not now". The reason she was one of the happiest people at Lakeshore is because she had one of the most involved families. The family that really went up to bat for her day in and day out. The family that advocated for their child. After a year and some months at LS I was sad to go, but I had to advocate for my child at home as she grew more ill. As times grew tough for my family I often thought of the Greenwood family and how all their perseverance kept Nettie so happy and able to laugh and joke through it all. Nettie will always watch over you all and take care of you until the day your reunited. Your family has been such an extraordinary influence on so many.

As we gather the next couple of days to celebrate and give respect to the life Jeanette had here on Earth, it is only fitting to smile through the tears and sadness because Jeanette was undoubtedly greeted in Heaven on Monday morning by So many loved ones who had awaited her coming. We can all envision her running into the arms of her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends gone before her. Oh, how exciting that reunion must have been. Jeanette will continue to be a blessing in our lives. Her perseverance is an inspiration to all who will keep her memory alive in our hearts.
May God continue to bless you... Phil, Mary Anne, Andrea, Derek and children...Jesus couldn't have placed Jeanette in better hands ; she had a lifetime of unconditional love and support.
