Jeanne L. (Bittel) Baxter's Obituary
Jeanne L. (Bittel) Baxter, 64, of Syracuse, NY passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late James H. and Patricia J. (Murray) Bittel. Jeanne worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at ClearPath Diagnostics. She loved spending time with family and friends at Brennan Beach. Above all, she adored her beloved grandchildren. Jeanne fought her illness to the end and will be deeply missed.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Christine Czajak and Diane Bannigan.
Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Richard W. “Rick” Baxter; two daughters, Jennifer (Christopher Kolakowski) Scott and Adrienne (Jeff) Shuron; four grandchildren, Cheyenne Scott, Madeline, Gabi and Alex Shuron; three sisters, Catherine (Jack) Cook, Susan (Gary) Bova and Elizabeth Fincuane; two brothers, James Bittel and Bruce Bittel, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Jeanne’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Holy Family Church.
