Jeanne (DeMauro) Kissane's Obituary
Jeanne (DeMauro) Kissane, 64, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 18, 2022. She was born on September 5, 1957 to James and Theresa (Saya) DeMauro and graduated from East Syracuse Minoa High School and had many various jobs over the years. Jeanne was a kind-hearted woman who cared deeply for her friends and family. She loved being able to give to others and make them happy, especially by cooking them a great meal and keeping up with current events so she could have a meaningful conversation with you. She had a bright smile and a warm heart.
Jeanne was predeceased by her father, James DeMauro.
She is survived by her loving companion, Jay, who was always there for Jeanne and whom she shared a loving bond with; her mother, Theresa (Saya) DeMauro; her brothers, Joseph and James DeMauro; her nephew Christopher; her nieces, Daria, Brianna, and Alena.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 9:45 – 10:45 am at St. John the Baptist Church, 406 Court St., Syracuse, NY, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Jeanne’s life at 11:00 am at the church, with entombment in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
