Jeffrey J. Oleksak's Obituary
Jeffrey J. Oleksak, 55, of Liverpool, NY, passed away September 17, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Syracuse, Jeff was a dedicated roofer and life-long member of the Roofers Local Union #195 (his roofing family). His life was centered around his family and time spent at home with his wife of 33 years, Laura, children and grandchildren. Jeff enjoyed cooking and doing home improvements and gardening with Laura. Jeff was a “Jack of all Trades” when it came to carpentry, painting and a specialist in sheetrock finishing. He was an avid sports fan, mainly the Giants and Yankees. In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed golfing, listening to music, and taking care of his dogs.
He is predeceased by his nephew, Ryan Oleksak.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Laura L. (Marinaccio) Oleksak; two daughters, Gina M. Oleksak and Jeanette L. Oleksak; one son, Jeffrey J. Oleksak; his mother, Barbara J. Oleksak, and father, Joseph M. Oleksak (Grace Crossett); three grandchildren, Mia Oleksak, Joseph Oleksak and Jaslynn Oleksak; his sister, Stephanie Urban, and brother, Joseph Oleksak; one niece, Katherine Oleksak; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 12 – 1:30 pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Jeff’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
