To Jen's family:
Our condolences on your loss. It is Syracuse Right To Life's loss, too as Jen was a staunch supporter of the pro-life cause and attended our monthly meetings until December. A very reverent person, she was God's gift to those who entered her life. She went about quietly doing Our Lord's Will.
She will be missed by all. She made positive contributions of herself in whatever endeavors she partook in. Indeed, she was the 'faithful servant' and now God has called her to the Home for which she was created.
Rest in Peace, our Friend.
Love,
Your 'family' at
Syracuse Right To Life
To the family of Jennie Gillette, my sincere condolences to you. We are saddened by the passing of this wonderful kind and loving lady. She loved all of you and was so proud of you. We will truly miss her. I was her first cousin and she meant a lot to me especially when we were younger. I felt so honored to be asked to be her Maid of Honor when she married. Often, I would babysit for her boys. We had a long and loving friendship. She was not only my cousin but a dear and loving friend. I would love to watch her perform at the NYS fair with the cloggers. Sorry that we are prohibited to attend her services to say a final Goodbye. She will always remain in my heart and prayers. God has another angel to help from above.
Love, Joanne and John Verone
Jennie was the definition of what I think of when I say "Christian". I taught religious education at Cathedral for many years with Jennie and she was a whirlwind of energy and love. She never wavered in her devotion to the kids or her faith. Volunteering was her calling. We met many people downtown and we had the chance to help and Jennie did. She was a loving, good person whom I am sure God welcomed Home. My deepest sympathy to her family.
We have so many fond memories of Jennie. She is a member of our Cathedral family and we were incredibly impacted by her devotion to the youth of the parish.
When our dear Maeve faced several health crises, it was Jennie who would put the perfect uplifting message on a perfect card and make Maeve smile.
We will remember both her example of living her faith and her love. May God bless you all as you mourn her death.
Love, Tom, Joan, Erin, Regan and Maeve Dadey xo
