Jennie C. (Buda) Ramaglino's Obituary
Jennie C. (Buda) Ramaglino, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday. She was born in Newark, New Jersey, daughter of the late Angela D’Arrigo and Domenico Buda. She retired from Nationwide Insurance in Liverpool after many years of service. Jennie was a lifelong devout Catholic. She enjoyed cooking for all her extended family and was especially known for her homemade Italian cookies as well as her and Pat’s big New Year’s Eve bash.
Jennie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Patrick J. Ramaglino in 1995; brothers, Frank and James Buda; sisters, Phyllis (Buda) Prevost and Millie (Buda) Moore.
She is survived by her loving son, Anthony (Ann-Marie) Ramaglino; her beloved granddaughter who was also her best friend, Emily Paglia; her most cherished great grandchildren, Vincent Paglia and Francesca Paglia who dearly loved their grandmama; many beloved nieces and nephews as well as her many friends at the Hearth at Greenpoint in Liverpool.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 406 Court Street in Syracuse, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
Jennie’s family would like to thank the 3rd floor ICU staff at St. Joseph’s hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.
