Joan M. Judge's Obituary
Joan M. (Fresina) Judge, 61, of East Syracuse passed away Saturday at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse, Joan was a teacher's assistant for the Syracuse City School District for 28 years before retiring in 2010. Joan was an avid Yankees fan and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Donald R. Judge; 2 daughters, Teisha (Tim) Cook of E. Syracuse and Kristy (Steve) Law of Rochester; her son, Steven ( Margaux) Judge of Syracuse; 5 grandchildren, Jack and Lillie Cook, Charles and Antonia Judge and Max Law; her brother, Salvatore (Barbara) Fresina and her 2 sisters, Mary Ann (Paul) Anderson and Sandra (Athanas) Pines; aunts, cousins and her dear friend, Joyce Boniewicz. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 am in St Matthew's Church in East Syracuse, Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Thomas J Pirro Jr. Funeral Home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley) is in charge of arrangements.
