Your Mother, Joan was a friend of my mother-in-law, Joan Reynolds. Joan died in June of 2021. Joan talked about her trips with her group of friends of which your mother was a part of. Sending my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother, grandmother and friend. May God bless you and your family.

To my cousins Peg Anne and Michael and family, I'm sorry to hear about your moms passing. Sending you my sincere condolences from Florida. She was a great lady with a big heart. I'll always remember her for saying "Hi Honey", always sweet and kind to everyone. Great slide show of pictures. I've never seen all the young Ralph and Joan pictures. Awesome!. Joan and Ralph were neighbors of ours on Inwood Dr in Syracuse. Joan was a wonderful person with a very giving and loving way about her. I am so sorry for the news, but so privileged to have called her my friend.

Joan & Ralph were godsends for my mom (Betsy Simao) when Dad passed in 1994. Mom never liked being a third wheel, and often declined invites… but not when Joan & Ralph offered. They made her feel so comfortable and loved, and I’ll forever be grateful to them for it. For many years, on most Sundays, Mom would call me to say “if anyone’s looking for me, I’m taking a ride with Joan & Ralph”… which was code for “we’re headed to the casino.” Joan brought a lot of love and light to this world and to the people who knew her. Prayers to the family, and cheers to Joan on a life well lived.
I worked with Joan for many years and think JTP is a perfect nickname. She and Ralph would talk several times a day on the phone. We often wondered what they had to say when they just saw either other at breakfast and would meet again after work. Peg and Michael, I'm sorry that you've lost your Mom, but you were so lucky to have her for so long.
I am very saddened to see that Joan has passed. Such a wonderful person. I met Joan and Ralph through their many visits to Twin Trees Too Restaurant and normally with many friends. I never heard the Joan on the phone comment but makes sense. Joan would call me regularly to catch up. She loved all my Hofmann Hotdog stories and was very excited when we went to Publix in Florida. Rest in Peace my friend, your back with Ralph. Such fantastic people. Prayers to the family. She was a GEM!
