Joanne M. (Tardibone) Branagan's Obituary
Joanne M. (Tardibone) Branagan, 71, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, at home, with her husband by her side. Born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Michael and Anne (D’Agostino) Tardibone, Joanne graduated from Henninger High School and was employed with JPMorgan Chase, retiring after 28 dedicated years, to take care of her mother. She was a Sunday School Teacher at Lyncourt Wesleyan Church, and loved the children she taught, watching them grow into young adults. Joanne loved going on vacation and posting her dishes on Facebook. She was a loving, and giving person making sure everyone’s wants and needs were taken care of.
Joanne is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 25 years, Dennis M. Branagan; as well as several cousins and friends.
A funeral service in celebration of Joanne’s life will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 11:00 am in Lyncourt Wesleyan Church 2626 Court St. Syracuse, with burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Auburn. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joanne’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
