John P. Aloi's Obituary
John P. Aloi, 70, of Syracuse, went to be with The Lord, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 15, 2015. He was born on April 17, 1944 in Syracuse, NY. John was the
Co-Vice President of Steve Aloi Ford for many years and then was a Deputy for the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office where he retired after 26 years of service. But more importantly, John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was predeceased by his loving parents, Stephen and Marion (Donath) Aloi and grandson, Joseph Aloi.
John is survived by his wife, Denise Aloi; his children, John Aloi II, Kevin Aloi and Jennifer Aloi (Haught) all of Syracuse; grandchildren, Anthony, Kevin Jr., John, Bella ( Aloi), Thomas and Evan (Haught); brother, Stephen (Jacqueline) Aloi; sisters, Cathy (Roger) Paradiso and Linda (Timothy) Camarda, along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of John’s life at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
