John A. Ballard's Obituary
John A. Ballard, 86, of Liverpool, passed away Monday at Cortland Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Harold and Irene (Misener) Graham. He was also predeceased by his brother Harold.
John was the owner and operator of Misener Manufacturing for over 30 years. After selling his business he went on to work as a service tech at Haun Welding. John was a pilot and was a member of the Syracuse Flying Club. He also loved the water and enjoyed boating and fishing. Although family was most important to him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Barbara (Praxl) Ballard; his three children, Nancy Passafiume of Liverpool, Thomas Ballard of Westernville, NY, and Virginia Ballard of Baldwinsville; three grandchildren, Michelle, Lisa, and David; three great-grandchildren, Thomas, Samantha, and Daniel.
Funeral services were private.
