John A. Basile's Obituary
John A. Basile, 58, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. Born October 24, 1956 in Syracuse, NY
John loved spending time with his wife Lynn, and son Anthony, and countless other friends and family members.
John was always kind to everyone he met, and he took care of his parents, Mary and Tony. His favorite thing to do was to relax at home and enjoy time with his wife and son.
John is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Lynn, their son, Anthony, his parents, Mary and Tony Basile, and sister Celeste Donald, and her daughter Taylor. He is also survived by his in – laws Pat and Phil Bucci, 5 sisters in – law, and brothers in – law, 5 nieces, 5 nephews, 1 great niece, and many cousins and friends.
Many thanks to Dr. David Churchill and Beth Connelly of Hematology Oncology Associates, and the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, especially units 3-2, ICU and admitting staff.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of John’s life will be held at 11:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church on Tuesday February 10, 2015.
