John Peter Cannella's Obituary
John Peter Cannella, 68, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016. John, son of Josephine (Capone) and Anthony Cannella was born and raised in Watertown, NY. He graduated from Immaculate Heart High School and attended Fordham University. John worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He enjoyed fine wines, classical music and talking with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Frank Cannella.
John is survived by two sons, John A. (Carrie) Cannella of Santa Fe, NM and Mark (Megan) Cannella of Montpelier, VT and their mother, Francine M. Cannella; four grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph (Helen) Cannella of East Syracuse, Vincent (Deborah) Cannella of Bellaire, MI, and James “Jim” (Ellen) Cannella of Baldwinsville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Holy Cross Church, DeWitt. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
