John Carulli's Obituary
John Carulli, 73, of Syracuse, passed away October 30, 2020 at Van Duyn. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Nunzio and Mary (Mignacca) Carulli and attended Our Lady of Pompei School.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank (Clementine) Carulli and Joseph (Barbara) Carulli. John is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John’s family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the 3rd floor North staff at Van Duyn for 18 years of care and love. Special thanks to his social worker, Theresa Garafalo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 10 – 11 am at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of John’s life at 12 pm at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, DeWitt, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cathedral Academy at Pompei, c/o Our Lady of Pompei / St. Peter’s Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY 13208.
