Watching that video shows a man who was so proud of his country, his friends, and above all, his family. I'm so blessed I got to know John. I think of the times we talked about sports, cars, and the finer things in life. I'd like to think that the good Lord has a list somewhere of the top ten people to meet and know during our lifetime, and John certainly is on that list. Someday, somewhere, we will meet again and decide if there was enough salt in the stew, or if a certain part to replace on the car is the proper one. God bless you, and may you serve the Lord as well as you have touched all of our lives.

The "Discussions" John & I would have each year submitting our Annual entry into the NCAA's men's Basketball tournament. As we all know, I did more of the listening then contributing, his knowledge AND past BBall refereeing made him quite good at it. Not to be outdone were the late night Pinochle games with DEAR Carla, John, and Alton Richardson in Clarkes home.
