John F. Marzullo's Obituary
John F. Marzullo, 76, of Pennellville, passed away Tuesday at the VA Medical Center . He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Thomas and Maria (Ventre) Marzullo. John was a veteran and served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He met his wife Shirley at a young age and spent his whole life with her. They were married for 50 years, before her passing in 2008. John was a Maintenance Supervisor with Gaylord Brothers for 35 years, before working at Bryant and Stratton for 15 years. He enjoyed his cars, spending time with family and always made sure his family was taken care of.
He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Marzullo; 4 brothers and one sister. John is survived by his daughter, Donna Vallar of North Syracuse and his son, Kenneth Marzullo of North Syracuse; his grandchildren, Justin Thomas, Maria and Marcus Marzullo and Brenna Vallar; 2 sisters, Josephine Cavallaro of East Syracuse and Nancy Giarrusso of Syracuse; a brother, Michael (Dorothy) Marzullo of Cicero along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 8:45 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in St. Stephen's Church, Phoenix. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
