John A. "Jack" Milone's Obituary
John A. "Jack" Milone, 63, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in New York City and served with the US Army. Jack was a Senior Sewage Treatment Worker for the DEP of New York City. He was a current 3rd Degree Member and Past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council #569. Jack was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church in Syracuse, NY. He was an avid NY Giants and NY Rangers fan and was also very generous and giving to many charities. Jack is survived by his brother, Robert (Ann) Milone of Long Island; 2 nephews, William Milone of North Carolina and Joseph (Jill) Milone of Long Island; great-niece, Briana Milone; many cousins and his extended family, Theresa (Robert) Bretschneider of Syracuse; Anthony and Robert Bretschneider of Syracuse. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 AM on Monday, August 1, 2011 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY and 9:30 AM in St. Daniel's Church, Syracuse. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 5 PM.
