As a rookie police officer John was a mentor and someone who I shared a lot of laughs with. John always had a smile and I always joked with him that he looked like Tony Bennett. The laughs we had will not be forgotten. Cherish his memory as I certainly will.

John was my senior partner for the first shift after the police academy. I was nervous that night but immediately put at ease by his calm patience and famous sense of humor. Officer John Morris was not only a great mentor but also a street-wise cop who I was honored to know and work with.
